Create labels right at your desktop with the Casio KLP1000 label printer. This small printer attaches to your mouse pad and is designed for easy and comfortable mouse operations. The mouse pad surface is angled to reduce wrist strain (great for those who spend a lot of time at the computer or are prone to carpal tunnel syndrome). A stopper on the back prevents movement of the mouse pad while the printer is in operation. When not in use, detach the printer and set aside. You can design and make labels for binders, video cassettes, audio cassettes, files, lockers, shelves, and cabinets, plus name and address labels. Preset templates are included for your convenience as is a phrase library to select common expressions. The label printer offers three different printing methods and will support any language with True Type fonts. Up to three lines can be printed on 18-millimeter tape. A time stamp allows you to record the current date and time on your computer. If you want to transfer information, you can highlight text from Microsoft Word, Excel, a Web page, or your e-mail, and input the text on the labels.
The label printer package includes a mouse pad, USB cable, AC adapter, 9-millimeter tape, and the CD-ROM software (you supply the mouse). --Dana Van Nest
