Operating in the clean 5 GHz spectrum with eight non-overlapping channels, you can install up to eight dual access points in a location to provide up to 432 Mbps network capacity in a single area.The Intel PRO/Wireless 5000 LAN Dual Access Point uses a software-configurable antenna, provides support for IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) and includes a security lock. The access point is designed for placement on a table, or for mounting on a wall or the ceiling, giving users optimal networking performance at distances up to 91.5 m.
