The 3Com OfficeConnect Internet Firewall 25 is a preconfigured firewall that protects up to 25 users by blocking unauthorized network access and preventing denial-of-service hacker attacks such as the ping of death, SYN flood, LAND attack, IP spoofing, the teardrop, and Bonk. The firewall also offers the ability to connect all users to the Internet through one IP address, reducing costs and increasing security, and to let you control and monitor Internet access by your LAN users. Easily customizable using a Web interface, the firewall supports Web-based management using a standard browser. This firewall comes with a lifetime hardware warranty and automatic firmware updates. Web site filter and VPN upgrades are optional Note: This product requires a modem or router with a 10Base-T or 10/100Base-TX Ethernet connection. |
