In the 2003 only 7 percent it used SMS, in 2004 occurred a very important growth arriving at the 45 percent.

At the moment 13.6 million unique users of cellular telephony in Argentina exist, and the 80 percent sends short messages through their telephone.

In Argentina there are 17 million users of lines of movil cellular telephony, a 10 percent belongs to users who have two lines and a 5 percent that they have more than two lines.
