Hitachi jumps aboard the component-video bandwagon with the 36UX59B, a 36-inch direct-view model with an UltraBlack picture tube. This high-performance TV uses a topnotch three-line digital comb filter and advanced velocity scan modulation for improved video performance. On the audio side, Hitachi incorporates a 10-watt front-firing, three-way surround system with dynamic bass boost. Other features include two-tuner picture-in-picture, plug-and-play interactive setup, and a universal remote that glows in the dark. In addition to component-video inputs, the 36UB59B accommodates S-Video and has front AV inputs and rear AV outputs. |
