The Netelligent 56K ISA Fax Modem uses K56flex technology to deliver up to 56Kb/s downloads and 33.6Kb/s uploads using existing phone lines for specific applications such as Internet access and telecommuting. The Netelligent 56K ISA Fax Modem also enables the user to send faxes directly from the computer at 14.4Kb/s fax speeds. The user is able to send and receive faxes while running other applications.Flash upgradeability facilitates easy updating for the new ITU 56Kb/s standard4, performance enhancements, and service issues. The Netelligent 56K ISA Fax Modem is Microsoft Windows 95 compatible which means the hardware is automatically recognized and the appropriate drivers are loaded upon installation. The Netelligent 56K ISA Fax Modem supports V.42, MNP2-4 and V.42bis/MNP 5 providing the most advanced error correction and data compression available. V.80 Firmware provides the ability to function with multimedia communication products for applications such as video conferencing (requires a PC with sound card, video capture card, video camera, and H.324 videophone software).
