The RCA Scenium HD50LPW167 Digital Light Processing (DLP) microdisplay rear projection HDTV set incorporates Texas Instruments DLP technology that delivers high contrast with rich blacks and dark detail creating the optimum viewing experience. The HD50LPW167 is a Digital Cable Ready HDTV set that includes secure digital connections utilizing the High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) with HDCP copy protection offering the ability to connect to a set-top device and receive digital and audio signals on one small cable. An integrated ATSC Tuner/Decoder plus Digital Cable Ready circuitry enables reception of cable HDTV programming as well as over-the-air HDTV broadcasts without a separate digital cable set-top box. Terrestrial HDTV programming can be received with a rooftop or set-top antenna. The RCA Scenium HD50LPW167 delivers remarkable picture performance in a lightweight design with a space-saving slim-line cabinet and includes a full complement of convenience features.
