Used in conjunction with the 10x (20mm) stereo eyepieces, you can achieve a magnification of 20x right out of the box. We offer a range of optional eyepieces and objectives as well. With our optional wide field 5x eyepieces, you can achieve a 10x magnification, with our optional 15x eyepieces you achieve a 30x magnification, and with the 20x eyepieces you can achieve a 40x magnification. In addition, you can add slide-in objectives of 1x , 3x, 4x, and 6x. With all the optional slide-in objectives and eyepieces this incredible little microscope can deliver magnifications of 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 30x, 40x, 45x, 60x, 80x, 90x and 120x. Model #651001 has great features to make your microscope viewing as comfortable as possible. The main microscope head is upright, and the eyepieces sit in a gemel type assembly, allowing for adjustments in the interpupillary distance (55mm to 75mm wide). There is diopter focusing adjustment for fine tune focusing, and molded rubber eyecups are provided for your comfort. The focusing knob is on both the right and left side of the scope allowing for easy adjustment with either the right or left hand. T his microscope includes reversible black/white specimen plate. Also included is a plastic dust cover and a lens cleaning cloth to keep your microscope in clean dust-free condition.
