This model makes an excellent choice for travel, as it will operate on any voltage worldwide (an adapter plug may be required). For corded use, the shaver operates immediately when the detachable five-foot coil stretch cord is plugged in. After an initial eight-hour charge, the shaver runs in cordless mode for a good 45 minutes, and then requires a one-hour quick charge when the indicator light turns red. Designed for a close shave, the three-cut system features a foil-cutter-foil arrangement, with a three-position pop-up trimmer for sideburns, jaw line, and any longer hairs that need attention. While not ergonomically shaped, the shaver is streamlined and tapered, with grooves and ridges for a good grip.
