Our XPro tents are commonly used in catalog photography for imaging highly reflective objects particularly plastic, glass and metal, or when an "ultra soft" lighting effect is desirable. Illuminated from the outside, the XPro tent acts as a diffusion room surrounding the subject with soft diffuse light, greatly reducing glare. Reflective objects are best imaged in a tent because the surround environment inside a tent prevents image reflections of the room and the photographer. A tent is a perfect studio device that anyone can easily master and produce professional images.
Our XPro tents are constructed of a pure white nylon fabric supported by a sewn-in spring metal wire frame and includes Velcro fasteners for attachment of cover.
The front cover has a full "top to bottom" lens slit allowing for versatility in camera angle
How it works?
Since the lighting is coming from the outside of the tent, the light house diffuses the light and reflects the light at all directions inside of the tent, thus reducing the glare and hot spot.
The surround environment inside of a light house prevents image reflections of the room being captured by the camera.
