By introducing the Leica Digital Adapter, Leica Camera made possible the unique combination of the high-performance LEICA TELEVID 77 and LEICA TELEVID 62 spotting scopes with the LEICA DIGILUX 1 digital camera. The adapter with a locking screw facilitates quick and secure attachment of the camera to the zoom eyepiece of the spotting scopes. When the nature observer spots an interesting subject, he or she can attach the camera to the eyepiece by means of this adapter and then, by simply pushing a button, capture the scene on a round photograph. The large 2.5" monitor on the camera is beautifully suited for the evaluation of cropping and composition. Furthermore, it enables several persons to view the image at the same time. |
