The internal nitrogen filling which prevents fogging of the lenses and the total water resistance of the rubber reinforced aluminium body ensure unrestricted use of these high-quality optical devices. The costly lens system with additional lens for dust-free internal focusing, and the phase-corrected ridge prisms with their silver-coated ridge surfaces, make the compact construction of these high-performance binoculars possible. The uniquely high light transmission, the convincing color accuracy and brilliance of the reproduction and the sharpness of the contrast, even down to details, are out-standing application. This is made possible by the multi-layer M* coating, which is proven worldwide, and is applied to all transparent lenses and prism surfaces. The eyepieces for wearers of spectacles, with 4 lenses in 3 groups, are calculated to give the user of MINOX binoculars the greatest possible use and offer an extremely wide field of vision, for example 131 m for the D 8x32 BR to 1000 m.
